Farmer Field Schools (FFS) have proved to be an important and successful tool that helps to enhance the knowledge of farmers on agricultural related information.
For the 2018/2019 ZIFLP demonstration plots, FFS served as a learning platform for farmers through the exchange of ideas and experiences on Climate Smart Agriculture practices and technologies
We are elated that our lead farmers whom we supported with farming inputs successfully held their Agriculture Field days in all the nine districts of the Eastern Province of Zambia.
We are hopeful that we will recruit more farmers in the 2019/2020 farming season under our Climate Smart Agriculture Programme in a bid to increase, productivity, income levels and resilience.
